2. Privacy and Confidentiality Policy

We respect the privacy of our participants and safeguard all personal, health, and service information. Elpida Care complies with the Privacy Act 1988 and NDIS Practice Standards to ensure data is collected, stored, and shared securely and only when necessary.

3. Complaints and Feedback Policy

Elpida Care welcomes feedback and handles all complaints seriously, fairly, and confidentially. We believe that listening to participants helps us improve our services and uphold accountability. Complaints are managed in line with NDIS guidelines and responded to promptly.

4. Incident Management Policy

All incidents affecting participants, staff, or services are reported, documented, and investigated in a timely manner. Elpida Care uses a transparent incident management system to ensure safety, prevent recurrence, and comply with NDIS incident reporting obligations.

5. Service Delivery and Planning Policy

Our services are designed in collaboration with participants to meet individual needs and goals. Elpida Care ensures all care plans are person-centred, flexible, and regularly reviewed to adapt to changing needs and support independence and well-being.

6. Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Policy

Elpida Care maintains a safe, healthy work environment for all employees and participants. We follow Australian WHS laws and best practices to prevent accidents, promote well-being, and manage any health and safety risks in the workplace or care setting.

7. Code of Conduct Policy

All staff, volunteers, and representatives of Elpida Care must adhere to our Code of Conduct, which promotes ethical, respectful, and professional behaviour. This aligns with the NDIS Code of Conduct and our commitment to quality, inclusive care.

8. Infection Prevention and Control Policy

We implement strict infection control procedures to protect participants and staff. This includes hygiene protocols, use of PPE, and training on infection prevention practices, especially during outbreaks of illness such as COVID-19 or influenza.

9. Staff Recruitment and Screening Policy

Elpida Care ensures that all staff are suitably qualified, trained, and screened before employment. We conduct police checks, NDIS Worker Screening Checks, and verify all credentials to maintain high service standards and participant safety.

10. Participant Safeguarding Policy

At Elpida Care, we are committed to protecting the privacy of all individuals who engage with our services. We collect personal information such as name, phone number, and email address through our subscription and contact forms to communicate with you about our services, updates, and support options.

All information collected is handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). We store your data securely and only use it for the purposes for which it was provided. We do not share your personal information with third parties unless required by law or with your consent. You have the right to access or request changes to your information at any time.
